Painted Horses: A young teacher, destined to be a loser like the many generations in her family that preceded her, Ms. Hoog (Madelyn Deutch), must win over an impossible collection of kids and become a balm in a troubled town needing healing. The legacy ends with her, and by strength of character and sheer determination, she forges a new path and destiny for herself and her son.
